OverviewShift ElectricianJoin our Northgate Maintenance crew and make your markResponsibilitiesIdentify faults and perform breakdown repairs to minimise downtime and micro-stops caused by production machinery and equipmentInspect, test, and maintain machinery, equipment, electrical and electronic infrastructure in process and packaging areasPerform preventative and predictive maintenance on electrical and electronic infrastructure and equipmentInstall and commission new equipmentCoordinate and liaise with contractors and other staffPerform tasks as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Area Leader or their designatesRole detailsShift: Rotating shift pattern12 - hour Shift Electrician 5-day rotationWhat were looking forDual instrument/electrical trade or at least electrical trade with instrument experienceFull unrestricted and valid QLD Electrical Mechanics licenceMechanical experience highly regardedForklift license beneficialWork at Heights and Confined Space Entry licenses (current)White card certificateMinimum 5 years post-trade experience in an industrial maintenance environmentExperience with SCADA System & PLC controls (Allen Bradley, Siemens)Strong problem-solving analytical skillsExcellent communication skillsHands-on approach and ability to work autonomously and as part of a teamWhy Join UsWe believe in fostering a workplace where everyone feels valued and empowered.
