Overview This position is a Permanent Full Time Staff Specialist Level 1 or Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) Emergency Department at Griffith Base Hospital, Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD). This position qualifies for incentives under the NSW Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme, including up to $10,000 signon incentive and up to $5,000 each year (incentive value dependent on fulltime equivalent, position and location). What you''ll be doing Reporting to the Clinical Director of Emergency Department, the Staff Specialist/VMO Emergency Department will participate in the consultant oncall roster, assist with the education role of the department, and provide clinical care to patients for optimal patient outcomes.
