What You''ll Be Doing Provide clinical management and treatment of patients in a SWSLHD facility within the clinical privileges granted on the advice of the SWSLHD Medical and Dental Appointments Advisory Committee. Availability to work 0.7FTE from October/November 2025 to 05 December 2025, then 0.9FTE effective from 08 December 2025 until October/November 2026, with possibility of extension based on performance. Current medical practitioner status, registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia and relevant specialist recognition (e.g., Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians) as provided under the Staff Specialists (State) Award. Demonstrated high-standard clinical practice with significant experience in Brain Injury Rehabilitation at a consultant level. Commitment to quality improvement, patient safety and risk management. Experience in teaching and training at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels, including supervision of junior medical staff. Commitment to continuing education and professional development. Ability to align with public health service objectives, including service provision to the local community and resource management, with willingness to participate in LHD on-call rosters.
