The primary purpose of this role is to strategically acquire new customers and establish strong, meaningful connections with existing clients. This permanent position offers great career prospects with one of the largest specialist plant hire businesses in Australia.Key responsibilitiesContribute to achieving Selects growth ambitions through revenue and share of wallet improvements. By understanding the market, the customer and delivering solutions.Develop and present tender submissions, quotations, and tailored value proposition.Apply approved pricing structures to clients and achievement of sales objectives.Effectively pursue all new business / sales leads and opportunities.Undertake planned, face to face time with key clients and ongoing interactions with key accounts throughout the client lifecycle.Identify the key decision makers and make recommendations to regional manager on communication to achieve a multi-level interaction with the client.Liaise with Regional Managers providing market intelligence with regards to business trends, investment opportunities, competitor activities, and business development opportunities in the region.Negotiate with potential clients and provide sales support capabilities to regional teams to ensure they have a competitive edge.About youAdvanced sales experienceAdvanced business experienceAccount managementRelevant tertiary experienceMicrosoft Office Suite knowledgeRental or Services Industry and Sales experienceDiversity & InclusionWe are committed to building a workforce that reflects the diverse society in which we live and work.
