This role suits someone with a strong understanding of AV solutions who is eager to advance their career.Role OverviewIn this role, you will work with our AV vendors, leveraging your expertise to ensure the smooth delivery of products and services to our customers. You will collaborate with vendors to provide specialised product knowledge and support, contributing directly to the success of our business.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the subject matter expert for our AV product portfolio, with deep knowledge of vendor offerings, market trends, and competitive positioning.Build and nurture strong relationships with vendors, resellers, integrators, and key stakeholders to drive collaboration, market growth, and brand presence.Manage the full product lifecyclefrom market analysis and strategy development to launch, pricing, and performance evaluation.Maintain optimal stock levels through effective inventory and ERP management to ensure a seamless ordering and fulfillment experience.Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs, deliver tailored solutions, and meet sales and gross profit targets.Support business development initiatives by identifying new sales channels, creating structured channel strategies, and assisting with pricing strategies.Partner with marketing to develop aligned messaging, campaigns, and materials for product launches, promotions, and industry events.Prepare proposals, pricing quotations, and sales presentations to support growth and customer engagement.Deliver product demonstrations, training sessions, and post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and internal product knowledge.Represent the business at trade shows, expos, and industry events, staying current with emerging technologies and industry advancements.Skills and ExperienceExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal teams.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to effectively address customer needs and provide suitable solutions.Passion for continuous learning and keeping up to date with the latest trends and advancements in AV.Proactive and self-motivated approach to work, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams.An understanding of AV solutions, including a broad knowledge of various products, components, and technologies.Strong presentation skills to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Previous experience in a similar product specialist or technical sales role is advantageous.Benefits and Next StepsThe successful candidate will receive a competitive remuneration package reflecting their qualifications and value.
