Job summary: Looking for candidates available to work: Monday: Morning, Afternoon Tuesday: Morning, Afternoon Wednesday: Morning, Afternoon Thursday: Morning, Afternoon Friday: Morning, Afternoon Expected salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year Responsibilities and duties will include: Use of a range of computer software to develop detailed designs and drawings including: Solidworks (CAD/CAE) Research and design of new products and systems, with a focus on cost-effectiveness Modification of existing products or processes to increase efficiency or improve performance Accountable for resolving design and development issues Accountable for ensuring projects run on time and budget Liaise with warehouse foremen as first point of contact for technical advice Purchase and quality assurance of supplier supplies Attend and contribute to staff meetings Comply with company policies and procedures Ensure OH&S policies are adhered to Proficient in MS Office applications Suitable candidates will have the following skills and attributes: Either have received or are working towards a Bachelor Degree in Engineering from an approved Australian University or recognised equivalent Knowledge and use of the Solidworks drawing program Excellent communication skills Excellent time management skills Valid Australian Drivers Licence #J-18808-Ljbffr
