Overview Business Studies and/or Economics Teacher role at Blue Mountains Grammar School. The successful candidate will join the Senior School team on a permanent full-time basis and inspire students through high-quality teaching, with a strong commitment to the school community. Employment details Permanent full-time position Commencing start of Term 1 2026 Based at Wentworth Falls Salary in accordance with the Independent Schools Teachers CMEA 2025 Key Responsibilities Teach allocated classes and deliver lessons that meet curriculum requirements Plan, prepare, and implement programs that cater to a range of student abilities and learning needs Assess student progress, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records Collaborate with colleagues and participate in curriculum development Contribute to school activities, including pastoral care, events, and meetings, as required Maintain professional standards and uphold the Schools policies and values Requirements NESA accreditation and relevant tertiary qualifications Demonstrated experience teaching Business Studies and/or Economics at secondary level Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to plan and deliver lessons that meet curriculum requirements Current NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) Full Australian work rights We welcome your interest in joining a community that values academic rigour and human flourishing equally.
