Overview Full Time Ongoing Position Salary: $80,810.26 - $92,989.75 plus 12% superannuation Location: Morwell Department: City Assets We have an opportunity for a person with building services and modern pool / aquatic and maintenance experience to join the City Assets Team as Project Officer Fixed Plant & Aquatics. This is a full time ongoing position. About This Role As Project Officer Fixed Plant & Aquatics, you will be responsible for maintaining Councils fixed plant assets including aquatic infrastructure, lifts, town clocks, and fountains. Maintaining asset register for fixed plant infrastructure. Implementing and monitoring maintenance schedules (cyclical and reactive). Scoping and delivering capital renewal and upgrade projects. Delivering projects from the annual Leisure Renewal Program. Managing Councils Aquatic Service Contract, including tenders and reviews. About You We are seeking a self-motivated individual with the following: Building services trade qualification and/or qualification in a relevant discipline with relevant work skills and experience. Demonstrated experience in maintaining public facilities to a high standard of presentation. Demonstrated understanding of fixed plant, equipment and aquatic infrastructure as it relates to Councils buildings and aquatic facilities. A demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team Strong communication skills, with the ability to gain cooperation and assistance from a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. A demonstrated ability to develop long term maintenance and replacement programs for items of fixed plant and aquatic infrastructure. Demonstrated understanding of the key principles of contract management as they apply to service contractors at Latrobe City Council. You must also hold a current Victorian Drivers Licence and Level 1 First Aid Certificate.
