About the role As a proactive Handyperson, you will be responsible for supporting the smooth operation of Defence facilities behind the scenes. In this hands-on role, you''ll carry out general maintenance tasks, assist with repairs, and help ensure the site remains safe, functional, and well-presented. About you Background in labouring, handyman, removals, or trade assistance are desirable Must be familiar and comfortable using hand tools Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks and able to be on feet for long periods Hold a current Australian Driver''s License & own transport to drive across sites Respectful and inclusive approach to working with diverse communities Problem-solving mindset with a focus on safety and teamwork You take pride in delivering high-quality work safely and reliably. You follow established procedures, actively look out for your teammates, and understand that safety is a shared responsibility. You contribute to a culture where safety incidents, near misses, and hazards are reported promptly and constructively. Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance.
