We are looking for an experienced Expeditor to join our Naval Base workshop.About the roleReporting to the Workshop Superintendent, you will play a critical role in supporting workshop operations by coordinating dispatch and delivery services to ensure materials are received and distributed efficiently.Key responsibilities:Liaise with the project team to manage the collection and delivery of project materials to and from subcontractors and suppliersProduce accurate delivery dockets for all outgoing dispatchesProvide clear and concise work instructions to driversIdentify and address any delivery issues, delays, or disruptions to keep projects on scheduleOrganise materials into the appropriate storage locations for easy accessVisit suppliers to expedite materials and report progressEnsure all dispatch documentation and photographs are completed, filed, and stored correctlyAbout youPrevious experience coordinating drivers and deliveries, ensuring any relevant legislative requirements are managed.
