We are genuinely committed to live our values and walk the talk.SIMPEC have been awarded the main procurement and construction contract for the residue filtration stage 2 project at Alcoa''s Pinjarra Alumina Refinery, which will involve delivering infrastructure and services to increase processing capacity to convert bauxite residue into filter cake.We are currently looking for experienced Project Engineers SMP to join our team.This will be a daily DIDO commute and offers 18+ months longevity.This is an outstanding opportunity to develop your career with a dynamic and growing company, who boast a great and different culture " Be Like No Other.The Role:Provide technical support and guidance to the project team members.Creating work packs, test packs; estimation & site variations.Developing, preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring the specifications for all equipment that is required for each stage of the construction.Developing and monitoring KPIs and analysing productivity factors against program and budget.Strong and effective relationship with the Project Manager and other participants on site in order to provide optimal levels of day-to-day assistance and technical support.Manage all technical queries and requests for information sent to the client and received from subcontractors.Contribute, as required, to the compilation of the project MDR and closeout of the projectAbout you:Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similarMinimum 5 years+ experience in a similar role in Mining Construction involving structural steel erection, mechanical and piping installation.Demonstrated understanding of governing standards in Mining Construction particularly Australian Standards.Experienced in managing, raising, and responding to RFIs and TQs.Good understanding of Mining Processing and equipment.Contractor side experience in SMP construction projects.Experienced in managing and developing QMPs, ITPs and FICs/ITRsIf this sounds like you then apply now, we would love to hear from you!At SIMPEC we recognise that we are strengthened by diversity and pride ourselves on leading positively as an Equal Opportunity Employer.
