OverviewSenior Civil or Mechanical Engineer - Water & WastewaterJoin to apply for the Senior Civil or Mechanical Engineer - Water & Wastewater role at GHD.ResponsibilitiesDelivering various and significant NSW, Australian and international water and wastewater projects (either networks or treatment plants), by understanding clients needs, providing technical guidance and support to the project team for small, medium and large-scale projects (capex in the 100s of millions)Technical leadership and project management to guide key projects and mentoring other team members.Using your technical and client relationship skills for the delivery of proposals, investigations and technical design projectsUnderstanding client and project technical requirements, assisting to develop solutions, and preparation of technical reports, designs & specifications, client proposals and presentationsBuilding and maintaining strong client relationships, including business development, and engagement throughout project delivery.Working closely with our clients to develop innovative technical solutions in wastewater and water treatmentQualificationsBachelors degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, coupled with 8 or more years of relevant water or wastewater experience in either networks or treatment plantsThe ability to lead and/or work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team across the project lifecycleStrong client relationship skills, project management skills, and experience in preparing winning proposalsDesign or planning skills in water or wastewater networks or treatment, including producing technical reports, developing engineering drawings, specifications and tender documentation for water or wastewater treatment infrastructureExperience with using civil or hydraulic design software is preferableProject management or design management experience, together with a willingness and ability to mentor and provide direction to junior staffDetailsWe value wellness and flexibility; your role can be part-time or full-time, and you can be based in Newcastle or any of our other Northern NSW offices (Port Macquarie, Coffs Harbour, Tuggerah, Tamworth, Orange or Lismore).Interested?
