We are a proud community organisation and are well regarded for providing a pleasurable and entertaining experience for our members and visitors.The successful candidate will coordinate, administer and report on the programs within the Panthers Foundations Community Pillar, under its Health Promotion Objectives. Programs include, but are not limited to; Play Like a Panther Holiday Clinic Program and the Healthy Active Lifestyle Program (in schools). The successful candidate will also lead the coordination of the Panthers Foundations health initiatives with Lifeblood, Jersey Day and others.This role is a full-time role on a fixed term contract until October 31, 2028. Duties Program delivery of the Healthy Active Lifestyle Program in schools Coordination with participating schools as well as reporting on program to both partner schools and Head of Foundation & Community Organisation of end of term or year celebrations and activities for Healthy Active Lifestyle Program Program delivery and administration, in coordination with relevant NRL Game Development Teams, of the Play Like A Panther Holiday Clinic Program Coordination of all appropriate aspects of Healthy Active Lifestyle and Play Like A Panthers Holiday Clinic Programs, including but not limited to, booking of fields, allocation of coaches, marketing materials, safeguarding, equipment, reporting and expense budgets Ongoing review and updating of Healthy Active Lifestyle and Play Like A Panther Holiday Clinic Programs throughout the year Liaise with external and internal stakeholders to ensure delivery of health promotion initiatives under the Health Promotion objectives of the Panthers Foundation Supporting Panthers Foundation activities and initiatives at Panthers home games Essential Minimum of 1-2 years experience in the same or a similar role/placement. Tertiary qualification in sport, sport management, health promotion, or a related field. Current, valid drivers licence. Valid, paid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC). Current Sports First Aid (or equivalent) and CPR certification. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple programs and meet deadlines. Proven communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including working with schools, community organisations, and internal teams. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to safeguarding and child safety protocols. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to complete reporting and program administration tasks efficiently. Desirable Experience working within Rugby League, sports clubs, or community sports environments. Demonstrated experience in coordinating and delivering community or school-based sports or health programs. Coaching accreditation or formal qualification in sports delivery (e.g., NRL modified games or community coaching). Experience in program evaluation, health promotion initiatives, or event coordination. Familiarity with culturally inclusive practices and community engagement strategies.
