OverviewMining Manager role at MACA, Gruyere Gold Mine, located in the remote Goldfields of Western Australia. Rostering: 8 days on, 6 days off, from Perth. The project aims to deliver safe, efficient mining operations in line with MACAs values and contract requirements.The Role & ProjectMACA has an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced Mining Manager located at Gruyere Gold Mine on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster from Perth. Located in the remote Goldfields of Western Australia, Gruyere offers a stable and consistent working environment backed by strong safety and operational standards. The Mining Manager will assist the Project Manager in being accountable for the overall management of the project in accordance with the contract and ensuring adherence to MACAs vision, values, policies and procedures. You will provide the project team with effective leadership, planning and resources to achieve HSEQ, safe systems of work, quality, performance, financial and operational objectives.Build your future with one of WAs most trusted contractors. Our social responsibility is what drives us, and we make an impact through contributions and support we give our communities.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide effective leadership and demonstrate behaviours consistent with MACA HSEQ policies, procedures, and safe systems of work.Responsible for the overall management of mining projects.Determine, implement and monitor production strategies, policies and plans to drive operational efficiencies.Ensure that the requirements for effective HSE management and compliance are clearly communicated and understood by direct reports and all personnel operating in the Mine.Ensure all management plans and procedures are current and available to workers.Understand the commercial impact of project decisions.
