Overview We are a celebrated, multidisciplinary design practice with a team of over 280 professionals across six studios in Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia. The Role Were looking for an Interior Designer to join our dynamic Collingwood studio team as we embark on several exciting upcoming projects. In this role, youll craft spaces that blend visual appeal with practical functionality, elevating the everyday experience of those who live and stay within them. This is a collaborative, hands-on position where youll help translate visions into reality, assess materials and design concepts, and contribute as an integral member of our creative team. Duties Lead the design direction for a variety of projects Develop design concepts, spatial planning, and material selections Prepare documentation packages for construction Coordinate with internal project managers and external consultants Present ideas confidently to clients and guide them through the design process Mentor and support junior team members Visualise design ideas in Archicad, Photoshop, Sketchup, and/or other suitable media Prepare presentations for client, consultant and/or relevant parties Hold coordination meetings with clients and other consultants Pursue innovation in design, possessing creativity and originality Skills & Experience Qualification in Interior Design or Interior Architecture or equivalent; 5+ years of experience in interior design Proficiency in CAD software (DKO uses ArchiCAD) Strong understanding of construction documentation and technical detailing Confident communicator with experience in client-facing roles Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Collaborative mindset and a passion for high-quality, thoughtful design What We Offer Work in an award-winning studio with a focus on equity and inclusion Work in a friendly, supportive, fun and creative team environment Opportunities for career progression Exposure to projects across Australia Professional memberships Employee Assistance Program to support mental health for you and your family Wellness initiatives and social events Generous parental leave policy Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Design, Art/Creative, and Information Technology Industries Architecture and Planning #J-18808-Ljbffr
