Base pay range A$100,000.00/yr - A$115,000.00/yr Managing Director @ Healthii People | People.Health.Community | Partnering with Healthcare organisations in support of both Temporary & Permanent Healthii People is pleased to be supporting Southern Highlands Addiction Retreat in support of recruitment for Counsellors to join them on a permanent part time or full time basis. The retreat is set on 100 acres of land, with private ensuited rooms and unmatched facilities. Under 2 hours drive from Sydney or Canberra Southern Highlands Addiction Retreat is nestled in the beautiful Southern Highlands and surrounded by national parks lies Australias most outstanding addiction facility. Benefits on offer: $100,000 to $115,000 plus 12% superannuation Option of working 4 days per week or 5 days per week Access to temporary onsite accommodation, those living away from can stay on site during the week. Learning and Development Allowance Flexible working hours / conditions Onsite meals Access regular supervision and CPD No micromanagement - autonomy and clinical input are genuinely valued Your day-to-day will include: Delivering individual therapy and co-facilitating group-based sessions Supporting a caseload of 5-6 guests per day, with reduced load as aftercare increases Providing ongoing aftercare via Telehealth post-residency Collaborating with a team of MH clinicians, GPs, psychologists, social workers, and art therapists Attending weekly team meetings and monthly supervision Engaging in offsite training twice a year About the Role: Youll be part of a tight-knit team supporting guests through their recovery journey in a residential setting. Most guests are men (95%), and common presentations include alcohol and other drug (AOD) addictions, with some clients also presenting with gambling, sex, and online shopping-related concerns. What Youll Need: Bachelor degree in Social Work, Psychology or associated field Registration with AHPRA OR AASW, PACFA (Clinical) or ACA Experience in individual and group therapy delivery Background in a rehab or inpatient therapy setting preferred A collaborative mindset and commitment to trauma-informed, respectful care High-level written and verbal communication skills If this is an opportunity youd be interested in or would like to find out more about Southern Highlands Addiction Retreat APPLY via the link today.
