Reporting to the State Sales Manager you will oversee the regions sales performance, implement strategic initiatives, and build strong relationships with key customers. This is a role for a hands-on leader who understands how to balance strategy with day-to-day operations.Key ResponsibilitiesRecruit, onboard, coach, and mentor sales reps to enhance performance and capability, including regular one-on-one sessions.Implement and execute a tactical sales plan to achieve revenue and margin targets.Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including government, federal groups, and key accounts.Utilise CRM and sales tools to analyse performance and develop strategies for growth.Work closely with operations, admin, and suppliers to support sales efforts and ensure customer satisfaction.Lead by example, fostering a results-driven and supportive sales environment.What Were Looking ForA strong sales background with experience in sales leadership or a similar role.Proven ability to mentor and develop sales teams, with a focus on achieving results.Commercial acumen with the ability to strategise, plan, and execute sales growth initiatives.A team-oriented, down-to-earth approach, capable of engaging with frontline workers and senior executives alike.The confidence to challenge, influence, and push back when needed, while maintaining a collaborative mindset.Experience in food service or FMCG is a plus.What PFD is Offering the Successful CandidateWe are offering competitive remuneration, superannuation and other staff benefits (such as discounts on staff purchases, discounted accommodation, health insurance and banking).
