About the role The Operations Maintenance Specialist plays a leading role in the Operations Maintenance Planning and Delivery Team. The role provides expertise in asset reliability and maintenance planning in a regulated environment to ensure the provision of safe, sustainable water and wastewater solutions. The successful candidate will have a proactive mindset that balances a riskbased approach with innovation and efficiency to provide value and service reliability to North East Water''s customers. This role is a fulltime opportunity, including a monthly RDO and flexible work options. In this role you will: Lead maintenance management across all operational systems through effective, innovative and robust planning in strict adherence to OH&S, Water Quality and Environmental standards. Develop and implement maintenance plans within the Asset Management Information System (AMIS) and manage asset interventions. Provide sound, professional advice and strategic maintenance planning to ensure NEWs commitment to our people, the community and the environment. Provide expertise in asset reliability, maintenance, and renewal to ensure service delivery standards are met for our customers and communities. Lead contractor management and goods, service and construction related procurement. Capture, maintain, interpret, and analyse data for the purpose of strategic maintenance planning and reporting. To view the position description, please visit www.newater.com.au/careers Key Selection Criteria Specialist skills and knowledge in developing and implementing maintenance plans and managing asset interventions within an asset management system. Demonstrated experience in contractor management and goods, service, and constructionrelated procurement in a regulated environment. Experience capturing, maintaining, interpreting, and analysing data for the purpose of strategic planning and reporting. Experience working across multidisciplined teams to document processes and procedures that support effective maintenance strategies. Qualifications in a relevant tertiary field, with experience in asset management, or lesser formal qualification with extensive experience in the water and wastewater industry. Position Information An attractive salary range of $90,574 to $100,709, plus 12% superannuation, depending on skills and experience. This is a full time, ongoing position.
