We have a position available for an experienced Payroll Officer to join our team in Warrnambool, Victoria. In this role you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of weekly payroll including handling payroll administration, responding to inquiries and maintaining accurate records. Main Duties & Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end weekly payroll process ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legislation Prepare and generate weekly payroll reports for stakeholders Provide clear and timely payroll reporting to all relevant internal and external parties Handle all aspects of payroll administration ensuring all records are up to date and accurate Respond promptly and accurately to payroll related queries from employees, managers, and external stakeholders Perform complex calculations manually and electronically, including termination payments, long service leave and superannuation entitlements Maintain and update accurate payroll records in compliance with relevant regulations and company standards Collaborate effectively with the HR and finance teams to ensure smooth payroll operations Skills & Experiences Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines Accurate and efficient data entry capabilities Strong numeracy skills and the ability to perform complex calculations Ability to work effectively within a team environment and support collaborative efforts Strong verbal and written communication skills for addressing payroll-related queries Previous experience in payroll administration is preferred Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Knowledge of relevant payroll legislation and compliance requirements is advantageous WHY JOIN US?
