We''re on the lookout for a Field Team Leader and Field Officer to join our Sarina-based field team and play an active role in protecting and restoring our local beaches, waterways, and wildlife habitatsKey Duties & ResponsibilitiesCarry out revegetation activities: site preparation, planting, watering, fertilising, mulching, installing plant guards.Undertake weed control using manual, mechanical, and chemical methods.Perform minor machinery repairs and general upkeep of equipment.Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials and equipment.Follow all Codes of Practice and Safe Operating Procedures, including toolbox talks, risk assessments, and record keeping.Skills & AbilitiesStrong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.Experience in natural area restoration, revegetation, weed control, and plant identification.Confident in the use and maintenance of hand tools and field equipment.Certificate III in Conservation and Ecosystem Management, Horticulture or similar equivalent (or willingness to obtain).ACDC Licence (or willingness to obtain).Current driver''s licence.The work can be hot and physical - but it''s also incredibly rewarding, knowing that your efforts directly help restore and protect our local environment.Successful applicants will have a good work ethic, be physically fit and display good communication skills, punctuality and integrity.
