Specialising in working with individuals living with mental health and/or disability concerns, My Spectrum Services is dedicated to providing comprehensive support and care to those in need.Role DescriptionThis is an onsite role located in Gladstone, QLD, for an Allied Health Assistant. The Allied Health Assistant will support the team of Allied Health professionals by assisting with the implementation of treatment plans, helping customers with daily living activities, organising and maintaining therapy equipment, and documenting progress. They will work closely with customers and or their family to promote wellbeing and improve their quality of life.Depending on experience and qualifications, you may be required to work within our head office, peoples homes, education settings, and our farm site.About YouYou love working with animals, children, adults and team membersYou are honest, trustworthy and reliableBe available after school hoursCompassionate, patient, and attentive to customer needsQualificationsMinimum, you have completed or are working towards a Cert4 in Allied Health Assistance (or similar)Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication SkillsDriver''s licenseExperience working with individuals with mental health and/or disability concerns is a plusAbility to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary teamBasic computer skills for documentation and administrative tasksBe willing to complete, or already have completed, First Aid and CPR, NDIS worker screenings and application for appropriate clearances.You will be fully supported by a multidisciplinary team (Social Workers, Behaviour Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, etc), have paid birthday leave and access to the Yaralla Lifestyle initiative.
