Coleraine is located 3.5 hours from Melbourne and on the doorstep of the majestic Grampians National Park. About the Role The Food & Domestic Services Assistant will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, basic cooking, food, vegetable and sandwich preparation, meal service and presentation, general cleaning, kitchen hand duties and meal delivery and collection. The successful applicant will maintain a clean, hygienic and tidy environment and will report directly to the Coleraine Support Services Manager (Food Services and Environmental Services). Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service to staff and clients. Prepare basic cooking, food, vegetable and sandwich items. Assist with meal service, meal presentation and delivery. Perform general cleaning duties, kitchen hand duties and meal delivery and collection. Maintain a clean, hygienic and tidy environment. Work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Qualifications Punctual, reliable, hardworking and willing to learn. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team. Passion to provide a high level of customer service to staff and clients of WDHS. Experience in aged care an advantage. Food handling certificate essential. National Criminal Police Check required; Working with Children Check, Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme check or NDIS Worker Screening Check may also be required.
