Respect also provides home care services and manages more than 700 units in retirement villages and independent living communities.About the RoleThe Food Services Assistant is responsible for supporting the preparation and service of nutritious, high-quality meals that meet residents individual needs and preferences. You will also assist in maintaining compliance with the Food Safety Program (FSP) and ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment.Key DutiesContribute to menu planning to meet residents needs and preferencesPrepare, serve, present, and deliver food and refreshments in accordance with the FSPComplete general cleaning duties as per FSP requirementsAssist with monitoring and recording tasks such as temperature checks and receipting goodsEnsure friendly and timely delivery of meals and refreshments to all residentsReport any concerns or issues related to food and beverages to the Registered Nurse in ChargeEssential RequirementsCompleted Food Handling CourseCurrent National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire)NDIS check(or ability to acquire)Experience in residential aged care food servicesTo be considered for employment with Respect, each candidate must satisfy the legislative requirements of Aged Care Worker Screening to ensure suitability to work in the aged care industry.Why Toogoolawah Alkira?Nestled in the beautiful Somerset Region of Queensland, Toogoolawah is a welcoming rural community known for its country charm, local markets, and friendly atmosphere.
