The successful candidate will support the delivery of a wide array of mechanical fabrication projects, collaborating with peers, engineers, project managers and clients. This role requires an adaptable, detailoriented individual with a strong mechanical trade. Responsibilities Perform a high level of mechanical fabrication tasks using CNC and manual industrial plant, equipment and tools Read and understand engineering schematics and assembly drawings Accurately manage and configure designs, including working to the correct Bill of Materials (BOM) Support fabrication estimates and quotes Operate equipment safely and promote a safetydriven culture Promote a highperformance work culture, teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement Qualifications Minimum Trade Certificate III (Mechanical) Fitter/turner, toolmaker or machinist background Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques, processes, equipment and materials Ability to assemble, install and modify Strong understanding of quality control principles and adherence to industry standards Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities in a timely fashion to the required quality standard Strong analytical and problemsolving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be eligible for an NV1 Australian Defence security clearance.
