Service Technician - MacIntyre Wind Farm Join ACRWORLD to apply for the Service Technician role at the MacIntyre Wind Farm in QLD. The position is fulltime and based on site at the MacIntyre Wind Farm near Warwick. About The Company ACRWORLD partners with NORDEX Group to manage the service team for the prestigious MacIntyre Wind Farm. NORDEX is a global wind turbine OEM with more than 10,000 employees worldwide. The MacIntyre Wind Farm will be NORDEXs largest single wind farm facility globally, generating enough renewable energy to power over 700,000 households and avoid almost 3 million tons of CO2. About The Roles Reporting directly to the Lead Technicians, you will be part of the core team of service technicians who ensure that operations and maintenance work is executed safely, to a high standard and with minimal downtime. The Service Technicians responsibilities are commissioning, fault clearance and maintenance of the wind turbines. Responsibilities Analyse defects and coordinate with the service coordinator. Perform autonomous simple repairs, troubleshooting and faultfinding of turbines. Carry out complex repair processes in collaboration with the Lead Technician. With subcontractors, conduct planned maintenance and inspection activities of turbines for compliance with technical specifications and regulations. Collect data and perform tests. Fill in reports and checklists to fully inform the Local Operation Manager. Inform customers in case of works on the turbine. Repair or exchange main components of turbines. Check inventory of spare parts stock and be responsible for material on site. Standard monitoring of booked service reports and steering of the service process to book expenses correctly. Guarantee that tasks are realized with high quality and on time. Realize tasks in the most economical way. Responsible for material, tools and property. Carry out tasks in accordance with manuals and regulations. Keep all H&S related instructions, guidelines and work safety for material and personnel. Skills & Experience Must be an Australian resident or citizen. Trade qualifications in Electrical or Mechanical disciplines. Experience in hydraulic, electrical or mechanical environments. Able to pass fittowork medicals, climb towers and work at heights. Good English language skills (read, write and speak fluently). Teamwork, collaboration and willingness to take over responsibility for tasks. Ability to solve problems strategically and analytically. Computer literate, able to use MS Office, SAP and inhouse database and workload management systems. Readiness for training and development. Benefits Global Leader in Wind turbine manufacturing.
