Veterinary Ophthalmologist Opportunity Animal Eye Care, Melbourne is a leading veterinary healthcare facility specializing in animal eye care and ophthalmological services. We are expanding our team and are seeking a passionate and experienced Veterinary Ophthalmologist to join our dedicated ophthalmology-only practice building in East Malvern, in the leafy suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. Full-time staff position willing to work collaboratively with a training focus on residents and final year Veterinary Students. Longterm association desired; open to longterm locum stints if suitable. Eligibility for Veterinary registration in Victoria, Australia is essential; please contact the clinic for registration requirements. The Opportunity Animal Eye Care runs a busy referralbased ophthalmology practice with a high medical and surgical case load, including companion animals, exotics, and equine cases. Strong focus on continued education: weekly rounds/journal club, monthly ocular histopathology for residents, and an environment that strives for the best and most uptodate care for our patients. Strong and efficient communication between our clients and our referring vets, including the use of Galaxy Animal Intelligence Software. Experienced support team: dedicated, specialisedtrained, and motivated nursing team that provides an integral contribution to the practice. The latest technology and specialized equipment: stateoftheart, uptodate equipment and techniques are used to provide the very best services to our clients and their animals, including but not limited to the latest: AbbottAMO WhiteStar Phaco machine with Fusion Fluidics Leica ophthalmic operating microscope Dedicated Ultrasound machine Supportive team environment focused on true worklife balance: Flexibility in roster, including a 4day work week.
