Get ready to lead something bold, fresh, and first of its kind!The Salty Axe is bringing the very first axe throwing experience to the Fraser Coast, and were on the hunt for a confident, energetic and safety-focused Manager to lead the way.About the RoleAs the Axe Throwing Venue Manager, youll be the driving force behind our guests experience, balancing fun and safety while leading a passionate team. Youll oversee daily operations, ensure every throwing session runs smoothly and help grow The Salty Axe into the regions most talked-about entertainment destination What Youll DoLead, motivate, and support a small team, ensuring exceptional service and engagement at every session.Provide clear and engaging safety instruction to all guests before throwing begins, ensuring all equipment is safe and in top condition.Entertain, energise and engage guests reading the room and adapting your style to suit different groups.Manage daily operations, including opening and closing duties, point of sale, cash handling and rostering.Operate autonomously while maintaining strong attention to detail and a safetyfirst mindset.Coordinate with external suppliers and contractors for stock replenishment and venue repairs.Promote and grow The Salty Axe by engaging with the local community and identifying brand opportunities.Confidently manage large group experiences with professionalism and enthusiasm.Maintain a clean, safe and vibrant environment for both staff and guests.Perform occasional heavy or repetitive lifting as part of venue setup and maintenance.What Were Looking ForAvailability Thursday to Sunday, including day and night shifts (4day work week).A strong focus on safety, with First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.RSA certificate or willingness to obtain.Proven leadership experience (13 years) in team management, staff development and performance monitoring.Confident, outgoing and able to assertively manage groups while keeping the atmosphere upbeat and fun.Excellent communication, problemsolving and time management skills.Prior experience in hospitality, events, or entertainment is highly desirable.Rezdy experience advantageous.Why Join The Salty AxeThis is your chance to be part of something completely new for the Fraser Coast a venue that blends thrill, teamwork and pure fun.
