Assistant Store Manager Burwood City Beach is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager in driving business performance and delivering outstanding customer and employee experiences in our Burwood store. The role focuses on leading and developing a highperforming team, ensuring operational excellence, and supporting City Beachs brand identity across surf, skate, streetwear, and fashion. Responsibilities Reinforce the customercentric nature of City Beach by providing a superior people experience. Lead the store team to deliver on performance objectives with respect to the retail team KSIs (Sales, People, Audit & Compliance, Visual Merchandising, Wages, Safety). Contribute to all aspects of store operations; managing and leading the store team, ensuring the store is open and ready for trade, and managing the movement of stock to reduce shrinkage and optimise sales. Work with your Store Manager to manage wages to achieve profitability and operational efficiencies. Analyse and interpret store sales conversion and customer engagement measures. Demonstrate effective leadership, ensuring that all store team members receive the required feedback, support, and training. Support the Store Manager with recruiting and retaining strong talent. Understand Workplace Health and Safety regulations and manage the workplace to ensure it is a safe place to work. Qualifications Experience in a customerservice based management role; a fastpaced retail or hospitality environment will be highly regarded. Demonstrated experience driving sales and operations to meet targets and metrics. Strong communication and team management skills. Energetic and enthusiastic approach to store operations.
