Position SummaryWe are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking team member for the permanent full time Warehouse Specialist role at Campbellfield on Day shift. The role acts as a Senior Operator for the Warehouse team at the factory and balances continuous improvement leadership as well as performing daily warehouse operations.A day in the lifeYou will be responsible for, and have the ability to deliver in the following areas:Assisting the Logistics Line Manager with continuous improvement activities and audit compliance within the Warehouse.Controlling dock operations send direct onsite truck drivers to appropriate un/loading doors/docks and driver exclusion zones (when Required)Prior to unloading, inspect vehicle for adherence to the Nestle Campbellfield Logistics and Quality standards and escape as necessary (when required)Ensure documentation and procedures comply with requirements stipulated in forms and processes (i.e. pallets, invoices, materials inbound and outbound, etc)Provide assistance in un/loading of vehicles and containers and picking product from the racking system via forklift (when required)Receipt material into and out of warehouse maintaining traceability by following correct procedures to maintain a creditable account of inventorySampling of materials listed on the sampling listWorks to shift operational plans including KPI charts at Shift Hand Over and responds to customer requirements in a timely mannerAssists in inventory management activities end-to-end including pallet / pallecon physical stocktakes, material stocktakes / cycle counts, record and action anomalies and input data as appropriateWork safely and within the guidelines of site work instructions including forklift interactionsDevelop an aptitude for problem solving and work effectively with minimal supervisionIdentify non-conformances and report issues promptly to Line ManagerAdhere to hygiene and housekeeping requirementsUnderstand and adhere to any additional requirements required of TGA GMP in the roleUpload daily stock on hand report to hard copy and excel; spreadsheet in the event of BCP being enactedManage the return of material to suppliersHelp coordinate the secure disposal of materialsPerform necessary workplace inspections racking inspections, cycle counts, monthly workplace inspections, daily health checks, product inspections, etcUndertake duties performed by other functions, improvement work as neededWhat will make you successfulThe following attributes will be considered favourably:Willingness to show initiative, elevate problems for resolution, and participate in problem solving process.Strong systems skills are a must.
