What Youll Do Solution Architects at SailPoint embark on their journey by undergoing comprehensive product training to harness their experience and gain a deep understanding of SailPoint SaaS solutions. Within a month or two, they begin serving as the technical leads on customer projects, using client and partner communication skills and industry knowledge to share organizational best practices for SailPoint products and identity governance. After six months, Solution Architects will be established as technical and consultative experts within the SailPoint Services organization. By the end of the first year, they become trusted advisors to customers, partners and less experienced team members, with opportunities to work on custom development efforts as needed. Responsibilities Gather customers'' business use cases and document product-based requirements with recommended solution designs Educate customers and partners on high-level product architecture, functional design, and best practices Assist in the scoping, analysis, and documentation of implementation projects Develop and deliver technical training to enable SailPoint implementation partners Help implementation team members design creative solutions to complex problems Assist with the technical delivery of the solution via written code or complex configuration Use your development background to write custom work or review others'' code Requirements 5-7+ years of professional work experience in an enterprise software company, systems integrator, or consulting firm; 3+ years of software implementation experience Experience in software development, implementation, and configuration Excellent communications skills and extensive experience working directly with clients and partners Experience with the following tech-stack Preferred Experience with at least one of the following: SpringBoot, SpringMVC XML, SPML/SOAP, web and application servers Windows and Unix (Linux, Sun, HP, AIX) platforms Directories (LDAP, AD) ERP or service management systems (SAP, PeopleSoft, ServiceNow) Front-end languages (HTML, CSS, Angular, React, Vue.js) Familiarity with SailPoint identity governance products or vendors such as Microsoft, Sun, Oracle, IBM, or Novell Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts Experience with project management duties (planning, resource management, scope, schedule and status, documentation) Quality assurance duties experience (usability testing, performance testing, automated testing, test scripts, test cases and test plans) Security software or IT audit experience Education Computer Science or Engineering degree, or equivalent experience J2EE certification and/or CISSP certification is a plus SailPoint Certified Engineer or Solution Architect is a plus and is expected within 12 months of hire Travel This position may require up to 15% travel Equal Opportunity SailPoint is an equal opportunity employer and we welcome all qualified candidates to apply.
