OverviewWe are currently recruiting for a Principal Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic Sydney-based team. The role involves a variety of projects and services-based work, focused on automation / control systems and solutions, primarily in the Infrastructure, Water, Manufacturing, and Defence industries.ResponsibilitiesLead, manage, and participate in designing, developing, commissioning, and supporting automation and electrical systems in both project and services environments.Lead, manage, and participate in continuous improvement and maintenance of client process and automation systems.Leading engineering teams, planning and managing project execution.Drive the development of best practice methodologies, software, systems and procedures.Meeting engineering & project cost targets as set by ManagementManage, mentor, and support other engineers in the teamQualificationsDegree qualified (Electrical Engineering)Minimum 15 years industry experienceRPeng and RPEQ Certification or equivalent preferableProven track record of project success in electrical and control systemsDemonstrable experience in delivering and executing automation projectsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to travel regularlyThis position is open to Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeNotesCoengineer is a specialist project management and engineering services company, focused on delivering game-changing industrial automation solutions to our clients.
