Are you an experienced and dedicated cook looking to make a meaningful difference in aged care? Respect Aged Care is currently seeking a dedicated Food Services Cook to join our hospitality team at Mitchell House in Morwell, VIC. This Part Time role offers the stability of regular hours in a supportive, values-driven environment where your care and attention in the kitchen can help create a comforting and homely experience for residents every day. We are currently seeking a Food Services Cook for Day Weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday), with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts as a Food Services Assistant. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve high-quality meals and beverages that cater to residents dietary and nutritional needs. Work closely with residents, dietitians, Registered Nurses, and the General Manager to contribute to menu planning. Monitor stock levels and communicating supply needs to the Chef Supervisor. Maintain food safety standards by effective implementation of the Food Safety Program (FSP). Foster a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen environment to work efficiently and confidently. Order supplies to align with menu plans and budget requirements. Independently plan and manage your workload with professionalism and care. Assist with other relevant duties within your skillset, as directed by the organisation Essential Requirements A Trade Cook Certificate or equivalent qualification. Food Handling Course and a current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate. Proven experience working in hospitality. Experience in aged care cooking. Current National Police Certificate or willingness to obtain one. Intermediate computer skills. Must meet Aged Care Worker Screening legislative requirements.
