Distribution Centre Assistant/Forklift Driver Location: Kunda Park Distribution Centre, Queensland, Australia. Employment Term: Casual. Remuneration: $33.79 per hour + Super + NFP Salary Packaging. As a Distribution Centre Assistant/Forklift Driver, you will grow within Lifeline Queensland, contributing to the charity retail brand by managing donated goods to support our crisis support services. Responsibilities Operate a forklift within a warehouse environment. Operate baling machine to support export production and facilitate the storage of goods. Manually move crates/items to ensure a continuous supply of stock for production. Assist with loading and unloading of trucks and containers. Pack rags to operational standards in preparation for dispatch. Maintain work stations and storage areas in a clean and tidy manner. Ensure equipment is maintained in fully operational condition and report any maintenance or safety issues to the relevant supervisor. Record all paperwork relative to your role accurately and on a daily basis. Qualifications Availability Monday Friday 6:00am 12:30pm. Forklift licence and prior experience working in a warehouse environment. Passion for the Lifeline brand and ability to articulate its purpose. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team and organisational goals. Pride in your work and efficiency in meeting deadlines and achieving results. Ownership of work outcomes for self and team. Compliance with all safe work practices for procedures and equipment related to this position.
