We have a position available for a Quality Assurance Manager to be based in Brisbane, QLD.Our client is an established Defence and Commercial Aerospace Engineering company with extensive contracts across Australia and overseas. This is a high-profile DASA/EASA approved AMO, with PART 145 and AS9110 accreditation. The position requires an experienced QA Manager, with experience in production, who will work autonomously, auditing the QA across the site/facility as well as suppliers.The RoleOversee Quality Management processesCertification and compliance with AS9110Manage Quality Audit Plans and Schedules - internal and externalConduct supplier auditsManage Transitions plansBusiness Improvement Program - continual improvement of QMSMonitor project activities for compliance and identify improvementsExperience RequiredMinimum 10 years'' experience in Lead AuditingMust have Aerospace experienceFormal qualifications in QA and AuditingExperience with management of QA systems and processesHeavy maintenance experience would be beneficialFamiliarity with International QA Standards, Military and Aero Standards and RegulationsUnderstanding of the commercial relationships between Defence and Government organisationsPragmatic approach top QMS and working with key stakeholdersApplicants MUST be an Australian Citizen to apply for ADF clearancesThis is a key role within the organisation - applicants must be well presented and have excellent communication skills.
