About the Role We are seeking an experienced and driven Supervisor Production to join our team at Daunia. This is a great opportunity to step into a key leadership role and be part of a team thats been successfully running autonomous operations for more than five years. As a Supervisor Production, youll be responsible for the daytoday coordination and performance of the production crew by keeping things running safely, efficiently, and on target. Youll play a handson role in shift planning, allocating tasks, tracking production performance, and driving continuous improvement across site. Please note, this is a sitebased position working a 7on/7off Tuesday to Monday roster. What Youll Do Lead and coordinate daily production activities, including shift planning, task allocation, and supervising operators to ensure safe, efficient operations in an opencut coal environment. Monitor production and coal quality targets, ensuring alignment with mine plans and prompt action on any deviations. Drive a strong safety culture by overseeing the correct use and maintenance of equipment, optimising utilisation, and minimising operational delays. Provide mentoring, coaching, and support to team members while maintaining accurate training and competency records. Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to boost productivity, streamline processes, and enhance overall mining efficiency. What Youll Bring An inspirational leader with prior experience in a similar production role, preferably in an opencut coal mining environment. Hold RIIRIS301 / RIIWHS301 / RIICOM301 (formerly S1, S2, S3) & RIIRIS402 (formerly G2) qualifications. Strong attention to detail with a passion for driving operational improvements. Ability to thrive in highpressure environments and manage multiple priorities effectively. Previous experience with CAT Minestar Command or an autonomous mining environment is highly desirable.
