We have recently moved our Global HQ to central Coffs Harbour and we are looking for candidates who are based in the Coffs Harbour region, who are interested in joining the operations team. About the Role: The Project and Administrative Lead is the lead contact person for both complex projects driving our brands forward with innovative and critical work, and aligning / establishing process to set foundational practice. In addition to being the lead resource with key projects, this role will involve assisting those in the Product Development and Supply Chain teams as required to meet company goals. Key Objectives & Performance Contact point for projects as specified by Surf Hardware. Maintain timelines for assigned projects, ensuring ontime delivery. Regular presentations reporting on progress and milestones. Ensure products meet our design, performance, and cost specifications. Maintain and protect the IP portfolio, including trademarks, patents, and designs. Assistance in design and establishment of foundational and optimal work processes. Alignment of those processes to the business needs to ensure both the Product Development and Supply teams outcomes are systematic and repeatable. Deliver process documentation in assigned timeframes. The implementation of those processes. Monitor and responsible for time management of projects (such as the Critical Path) in range and product launches. Requirements for each project / initiative Fortnightly update on progress. Measured against previous fortnight. Keep Product Decision Matrix elements up to date. Project completion on time. Other tasks as required Provide feedback and collaborate as required. Contribute to establishing best practice QC to be applied by us with our preferred suppliers/vendor partners. Provide guidance and insights to internal staff, fostering team collaboration. Share market insights and design trends to enhance product development. Other tasks as required and directed within the Product Development team, the Supply team, the broader business. Skills, Experience and Qualifications required Strong commercial acumen with a focus on aligning design with business goals. Understanding of manufacturing processes, product costing, and quality systems. Proficiency in design software and business tools. Familiarity with intellectual property processes and compliance. Proven experience leading global product development initiatives in consumer goods or hardware. Demonstrated track record in managing innovation and strategic projects. Why Join Us?
