The Opportunity As a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering a wide range of civil infrastructure works including: Bulk earthworks and pavements Roads and intersection upgrades Drainage and sewer infrastructure Water and utility services Power and communications work Landscaping and external civil works This role involves practical, handson delivery, coordinating survey, procurement, subcontractors, and daytoday site operations. You will be involved in virtually all aspects of project delivery, including: Programming & Planning - Develop and update construction programs to meet milestones Contracts & Procurement - Manage subcontractor packages and negotiate pricing Cost Control & Forecasting - Track budgets and provide accurate financial reporting Progress Claims & Variations - Prepare claims and assist with pricing and approvals Resource Coordination - Organise labour, plant, and materials for efficient delivery Quality & Site Management - Oversee daily operations and maintain high standards HSEQ Compliance - Drive strong safety and quality performance across all works Client Relationships - Communicate effectively and build lasting client trust What You Need to Succeed Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent Local contractor experience delivering a range of projects like roads, drainage, earthworks or water infrastructure Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills Keen, handson, teamfocused personality - able to work well with others while taking ownership of delivery Only candidates who are Australian Citizens, Permanent Residents, or hold full working rights will be considered What You Need to do now If you believe your skills and experience align with the requirements of this position, please submit your application or contact Luke directly for a confidential discussion.
