Find more: Responsibilities Food preparation for morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and late afternoon snack Safe food handling for allergic/anaphylactic children Meal plating, service and taking to classrooms Kitchen cleaning and dishwashing Cleaning of office, staffroom, foyer and other areas if needed Cutting of varied meats Food safety and hygiene procedures Positively promote and market the centre to families and the community Be an advocate of the Montessori Method to parents and potential clients Respect and support colleagues by developing positive and ethical channels of communication that are based on principles of mutual respect, equity and fairness Attend meetings as requested Become familiar with Montessori Academy Policies and Procedures Key Competencies Food Safety Supervisor Certificate Cert III in commercial cookery or Cert IV in hospitality Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA equivalent) Current Working with Children Check First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain one Be available for shifts between 8:30am and 3:00pm Monday to Friday Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment Strong understanding of the importance of family communications Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and National Quality Standard Commitment to the holistic development of their class Benefits Generous staff discounts on childcare and large retailers 17.5% annual leave loading On-site parking Access to wellbeing programs (EAP) Strong focus on work-life-balance Great company culture that is fun, professional, and supportive of all team members Think you have what it takes to join the Montessori Academy Team?
