We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrician to join the team at our site in Launceston in the afternoon shift.You will contribute to the success of Opal by:Providing high-quality, timely maintenance servicesSupport and uphold Opals Health, Safety & Environment strategy and policiesDrive efficient preventative maintenance and continuous improvement using SAPOffer technical support, troubleshoot issues, and enhance reliabilityContribute to reporting improvements, standardisation, and process enhancements across the commercial teamWe can offer a varied career journey with experiential learning gained from cross-functional and lateral moves.We embrace diversity in all its forms, and we look for curious individuals who thrive in an environment of change. Specifically for this role, we expect you will have;A current Electrical Practitioner Licence (TAS)A motivated, professional attitude and strong safety commitmentSolid understanding of maintenance planning and schedulingKnowledge of JSEA, Risk Assessments, Working Permits, and LOTOA proactive mindset with a passion for safety and equipment reliabilityAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentExperience troubleshooting and maintaining electrical systems, including:SCADA and ABB automation systemsAC/DC motors, variable speed drives, safety interlocks and controlsApplications are open to both internal and external candidates.
