Position Overview The Corporate Accountant is responsible for all financial processes and controls across The Laundry Lady''s domestic and international markets. This position offers excellent opportunities for professional development and exposure to various aspects of financial management in a dynamic marketplace business. The position reports jointly to the CEO & part time CFO, with wide exposure across the business. Key Responsibilities Management Accounts:Prepare monthly management accounts within one week of calendar month end close. Prepare appropriate reconciliations and journal entries. Report these to CEO & CFO Oversight of transaction processing Accounts Receivable Accounts Payable Bank Reconciliation Invoice Processing Oversee maintenance of accurate records in Xero ATO - ensure compliance with GST, BAS & PAYG submissions Liaise with external tax accountants regain preparation of income tax returns Support the timely production of information for R&D Grant application. Oversee Management Accounts, Bank reconciliations and payroll of international entities as they commence trading in Canada and the UK Oversee the accounts of New Zealand entity Manage payroll processing in Australian and international entities Liaise with operations to ensure timely payment of contractor invoices Ensure accurate reporting between platform and Xero Prepare Weekly and Monthly KPIs for management Oversee offshore transaction processing accounting function Liaise with operations team, developers, external accountants and management as appropriate on business systems development in Australia & overseas entities. Monitor debtors & take appropriate action regarding escalation.
