GP Veterinary Nurse Maternity Leave Cover Our Mornington site houses both a general practice clinic and a specialist referral hospital offering 24/7 emergency, surgery, and internal medicine services. About the Role Assisting with consultations, surgeries, and patient care Administering medications and preparing animals for procedures Placing IV catheters, blood collection, intubation Running inhouse pathology and assisting with imaging (ultrasound & radiography) Maintaining hospital hygiene and postoperative monitoring Identifying operational improvements and contributing to a positive clinic environment Participating in reception duties and client education About You At least 2 years experience as a veterinary nurse A Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent experience) Confidence in surgical, medical, and reception duties Initiative, strong communication skills, and a commitment to high standards of patient and client care What We Offer No oncall!
