We are now looking for an experienced Irrigation Cropping Manager to lead our irrigation cropping operations across our largescale aggregation in the Emerald region in Central Queensland. Working alongside the Aggregation Manager, youll manage production programs, optimise irrigation systems, and develop a highperforming team to deliver strong farming outcomes. What Youll Do Oversee daytoday irrigation cropping operations to deliver highperforming, innovative farming outcomes. Manage and optimise irrigation systems, ensuring efficiency and compliance. Lead, train and develop the cropping team to achieve high performance and safety standards. Work with managers and agronomists to plan budgets, cropping schedules and infrastructure projects. Drive continuous improvement and adopt new technologies to enhance productivity. About You You have experience managing largescale irrigated cropping operations (cotton experience is a bonus; wheat and barley also valuable). You bring strong agronomy knowledge and love being handson in the field. Youre a natural leader who can coach, motivate and develop a highperforming team. Youre confident using farm technology systems, including AgWorld, tractor GPS (e.g. GreenStar) and moisture monitoring probes. You have strong literacy, numeracy and recordkeeping skills. Tertiary qualifications in Agriculture, Agronomy or Farm Management are desirable, but your practical experience speaks just as loudly.
