About The Role As a Workforce Australia Employment Consultant at Port Augusta, SA, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our participants (job seekers) to transform their lives. Reporting to the Business Manager, you will work closely with employers and participants to deliver tailored employment solutions in a fastpaced, collaborative environment. Identify and secure employment opportunities for participants with local employers. Establish and maintain strong relationships with job seekers to understand their goals, barriers and aspirations, and develop tailored job plans that align with individual and programme needs. Conduct regular facetoface appointments to monitor progress, provide motivation and facilitate access to upskilling opportunities such as accredited training and short courses. Deliver practical support including CV writing, interview preparation and job search strategies, ensuring compliance with mutual obligation requirements and participation reporting. Proactively engage employers through cold calling and labour market insights to uncover hidden opportunities, present candidates strengths effectively and negotiate trials, placements and wage subsidies. Collaborate with internal teams to match candidates to suitable vacancies, maintain and nurture employer relationships through followup and database management. Ensure accurate and timely documentation for compliance, audits and claims processing, while managing appointment scheduling, tracking KPIs and responding to communications professionally. Uphold programme guidelines through diligent recordkeeping and active participation in team meetings, training sessions and continuous improvement initiatives. To be Considered Eligibility to work in Australia. Current drivers licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle. A MyGovID (Standard level). Willingness to complete a National Police Check.
