Registered Nurse - Paediatrics & General Surgery Join to apply for the Registered Nurse - Paediatrics & General Surgery role at Healthscope We are a 32 bed, fastpaced, highturnover ward specialising in ENT, orthopaedics, plastics and paediatrics (both adult and paediatric). This unit offers a unique opportunity for a surgical nurse to use and grow their skills. About the Role Brisbane Private Hospital is seeking experienced Registered Nurses with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering highquality patient care to join our established Paediatric & General Surgery unit on either a parttime or fulltime basis. Your Duties Will Include Provide evidencedbased nursing care Liaise with the multidisciplinary team Ensure patient and staff safety Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members (Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing) to deliver patient care Deliver education and support to individuals and patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or endoflife needs Essential Criteria At least 2 years experience as a Registered Nurse paediatrics/adult experience desirable Current registration with AHPRA Commitment to quality patient care Sound clinical decisionmaking and problemsolving skills Excellent communication and customerservice skills Works well independently and within a team Why Healthscope?
