About the role Stantec is seeking an experienced Project Manager/Civil Engineer to join their Project Delivery Team. As an experienced Project Manager/Civil Engineer you will apply essential engineering expertise to a wide range of projects across NSW. Your day to day tasks will be diverse and offer valuable experience. The role will provide you exposure to various activities, including client facing project management, internal design project management, engineering assessment, stakeholder management and exposure to construction phase tasks. This position will support Stantecs Community Development business, based in Sydney or Wollongong. Day to Day Tasks Perform client facing Development Application and Subdivision Works Certificate project management tasks for the delivery of land development and infrastructure related projects from initiation through to construction. Develop and maintain project programs, budget and delivery timelines to ensure profitability and liaise with relevant stakeholders as required. Preparation and update of civil engineering documentation including design reports, cost estimates, specifications, tender documentation, programs and schedules. Apply civil engineering knowledge to various works which may include engineering drawings, calculations, reports, design criteria to support engineering projects related to land development and infrastructure. Perform site supervision and quality control inspections of civil infrastructure and land development projects, including adherence to design specifications, safety protocols and Local/State Government standards. Assist in the review of engineering drawings and submittals, respond to request for information, prepare site observation reports, and perform other contract administration tasks. Qualifications Bachelors degree in civil engineering. Minimum 3 years working experience in project management, civil engineering and/or site supervision of land development and civil infrastructure projects. Engineers Australia Membership or eligibility. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the interpretation of civil drawings, specifications and application of relevant legislation, standards and guidelines. Strong technical expertise and ability to produce accurate design documentation. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Self-driven with proven experience in time management and organizational skills including the ability to manage resources and delegate tasks effectively.
