Operations Supervisor Wandoan, Queensland Veolia has a fantastic opportunity for an Operations Supervisor to lead our Northern Water Treatment Plant operations in Wandoan 4419. This critical role involves overseeing daytoday plant operations, ensuring efficient water treatment to meet quality and quantity standards, and leading a dynamic team of up to 20 operators and technicians. Responsibilities Oversee plant operations, manage operational projects, and coordinate contractor activities while ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. Implement and maintain quality systems (ISO9001, ISO22000, HACCP), monitor water quality parameters, and ensure adherence to contractual obligations. Supervise, mentor, and develop a highperforming operations team; manage performance reviews, succession planning, and foster a positive team culture. Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, environmental standards, and regulatory requirements including Queensland Petroleum & Gas Act 2004. Analyse plant performance data, troubleshoot issues, manage chemical dosing, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Oversee maintenance scheduling, manage consumables inventory, and coordinate procurement within delegated limits. Qualifications Water Treatment Operators certification or equivalent in Power/Gas Generation. Extensive experience in process production environments (water treatment, power/gas, or similar).
