Join to apply for the Senior Developer role at Auto & General Australia. This role is a key continuous improvement and application support position that builds out the best digital tools to support Auto and Generals customers. You will take ownership of supporting and improving systems used by our customerfacing teams. The role works in one of several crossfunctional Agile teams, sitting alongside testers, business analysts, and product owners. All software is delivered via Agile teams and deployed through a modern DevOps/CI pipeline to AWS. You will be part of a large technology team of developers, testers, and Agile practitioners based in our Toowong location. Responsibilities Take ownership of the product, contribute improvement and innovation ideas. Work collaboratively within a crossfunctional Agile team, supporting deployment, and development activities as required. Lead solution designs and development of our modern architecture. Establish and own bestpractice testing across unit, integration and endtoend tests. Perform other reasonable and relevant activities as requested to meet operational requirements. What Experience Youll Bring At least 4+ years of software development using Node.js. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and microservice architecture. Experience with integration, APIs and GraphQL. Solid understanding of Node.js and TypeScript. Experience with AWS services and architecture. GitLab CI/CD. Experience or knowledge of application and system monitoring tools. Experience with PostgreSQL / RDS. Ability to work in the Atlassian suite of products JIRA and Confluence. Understanding of security implications for web applications (OWASP). Advantageous Experience with Terraform. Background in financial services applications.
