Serco Laverton North, Victoria, Australia General Practitioner (Parttime) As a civilian General Practitioner working with the Australian Defence Force, you will provide essential medical care and support to ADF Members. Responsibilities Deliver primary medical care to patients in accordance with professional standards, legislation, and Defence Policies and Procedures. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve the shared purpose of maintaining the health and wellbeing of Defence members. Assess Defence personnel for fitness for duty and provide care to support the health and welfare of members pre and postdeployments. Provide medical technical advice to the Joint Health Unit (JHU) Commanding Officer, Joint Health Command (JHC) Health Centre Manager and unit Commanders. Collaborate with a team of Senior Medical Officers and uniformed colleagues. Provide services in either an outpatient setting or inpatient care setting within a ward and work Wednesday 07301530 and Thursday 07301600. Qualifications Highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour. Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Medical Practitioner, General in Australia with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) OR Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) OR Vocational Registration. Minimum of 2 years fulltime post graduate general practitioner experience in a general practice setting within the last 5 years (or parttime equivalent). Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.
