Casual Undergraduate AIN (Assistant in Nursing) Location: Belmont Hospital, Lake Macquarie, New South Wales, Australia Remuneration: $26.15 - $28.69 Per Hour + Super + Salary Packaging Employment type: Casual Hours per week: Up to 38 hours Position classification: Assistant in Nursing; Requisition ID: REQ606214 Applications close: Sunday, 19th October 2025 About the Role As part of the Belmont Hospital Casual Pool, you will have the flexibility to pick up shifts that suit your lifestyle while building your clinical experience and confidence. You will work across a variety of wards and clinical areas, gaining exposure to diverse patient presentations and care settings. Your role will focus on delivering safe, person-centred care under the supervision of Registered and Enrolled Nurses. You will assist with daily living activities, support patients and families, and contribute to maintaining a positive ward environment. Two days of comprehensive orientation and mandatory training will be provided, followed by supernumerary time on inpatient units. Responsibilities Assist with daily living activities for patients. Support patients and families in care settings. Maintain a positive and respectful ward environment. Participate in orientation and mandatory training. Work under the supervision of Registered and Enrolled Nurses. Requirements Current enrolment in an undergraduate Registered Nursing degree (completion of first year and at least the first semester or trimester of the second year). Or Enrolled Nurse (Medication Endorsed where applicable) with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA. Strong communication and compassionate approach.
