About The Position If you enjoy problem solving & working across different equipment and machinery, we are interested in talking to you. We are seeking Timber Mill Operators to join our team at our Kyogle site, where you will be involved with tasks such as stacking, wrapping, strapping, grading timber products, and other tasks including moulder operator and forklift driver roles available through training. We are hiring on a flexible Casual basis to cover periods of leave and assist our team with production when required. Pay: $28.01 base + 25% casual loading + superannuation. Shifts start times tend to be 5:00am - 3:15pm. Alternatively, we can offer a 9am start time to help work around family life (School friendly hours). Key Responsibilities Ongoing work with timber including grading, stacking, sorting and strapping. Ad-hoc plant duties to ensure the smooth running of our Kyogle operations. Inventory management. Continually maintain a clean and tidy work area. About You Strong commitment to safety in the workplace. Previous experience in manufacturing or manual handling. Positive attitude and are reliable, punctual and focus on quality of work. Successful experience working in a team. Physically fit and able to manually handle various sized timber sections.
